On comparing the burials and crematoriums that took place in all four zones of the national capital, Mirror Now found that the document revealed far more deaths than the official numbers put out by the Delhi Government and MCD. There has been a massive spike in the COVID-19 cases in the national capital over the month of June. The Central Government has now begun to take action against the worrying surge. Similar reports of COVID data mismatch had earlier come from Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.
