The local trains which are known as the lifeline of the city had been closed as the lockdown swept across the country. The number of cases in Maharashtra doesn't seem to subdue and the rising of the same is alarming. SOP has been suggested by the State government to the railways. However, the locals are open only for the essential workers and their IDs are thorough being checked. A total of 700 passengers will be taken on board for each batch of the train one way.
