In a series of tweets Home Minister Amit Shah assured national capital of all possible assistance.
The Home Minister said 500 railway coaches will be provided to national capital which will increase its capacity by 8000 beds.
On the issue of testing numbers, Shah said COVID-19 testing will increase in the next 2 days and tripled in the next 6 days. The door to door health surveys will be carried out in Delhi's containment zones.
The first meeting was attended by Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and LG Anil Baijal, while the second included Municipal authorities also.
The municipal corporation representative said they were asked to work in tandem with Delhi government to manage the Covid crisis.
