Courses like BA, B.sc, Bcom, all of these will become optional. However, for courses like engineering, law, and hotel management, the State government would have to seek guidelines from the central councils.
Neha, a Mirror Now reporter, states that the GR that was issued by the Maharashtra government states that the exams for non-technical courses have been made optional, which means that if a particular student is willing to take up exams then he/she has to submit a written letter to the respective college/institute. Then it will depend upon the institute on how to go ahead with it.
