2:07Now PlayingOfficials of the Chennai corporation and Secretariat have been arrested in connection with issuing e-passes through fake documents. The entire incident came to light after the investigation on the procedure to issue passes was done due to some irregularities. The officials were caught taking bribes of Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 for issuing the passes. Around 5 officials have been nabbed and an investigation is going on in the case to see more disparities. This comes when Tamil Nadu is one of the worst affected states in the country with cases rising in thousands everyday. Watch the video to know more!
