The matter came to light when BMC officials tried to contact many people. After BMC’s request, the police have started tracking them with the help of their call detail record. The BMC told police that the missing patients need to be tracked down as early as possible.
Since then the Mumbai Police is in a constant hunt for missing Coronavirus patients. Out of 63, 44 have been successfully traced; now there are taking necessary steps and efforts to trace the rests.
