Uttarakhand Ayurved department has said that a notice will be issued to Patanjali over its claims on anti-COVID drug Coronil. According to the state Ayurved department, the licence that was issued to Patanjali was in name of an immunity booster and cough and fever drug and Patanjali did not mention Coronavirus in their application. Ayush Ministry is now examining the details of the drug recently launched. Patanjali had applied for a few drugs that could cure cough and fever, hence the license was granted to the company. There was no claim on Coronavirus treatment, says YS Rawar, License Officer Uttarakhand Ayurved Department.
