3:21Now PlayingThe Karnataka Government has decided to conduct board exams for students of class 12th after several review meetings. The Education Minister for the State, Suresh Kumar said that it has decided to hold exams because they are necessary for the future of the students. He further added that the health department was working closely with the education department to ensure the highest standards of safety were maintained, and creating measures for the student in case someone in their close proximity or family tested positive for Coronavirus prior to or during the exam schedule. The decision has prompted a mixed response from opposition, parents and students as case of COVID-19 surge in the city.
