Consumers have complained that they have been plagued by this as the inflated bills are now amounting to twice as much as their normal electricity bills. According to the electricity providers, they state that the electricity bills are a result since consumption has increased. They also stated other reasons saying this is summer season hence there is more electricity consumption, they also say sometimes actually readings are not taken and due to lockdown, everybody is at home.
