3:10Now PlayingThe State of Tamil Nadu has suspended Inter district Zone-wise travel until 30th June. E-pass is not required to travel within the district; however, it is a must for inter-district travel. Buses will ply within districts only.
This decision taken after the State Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami’s meeting with district Collectors who mentioned that contact tracing has turned extremely difficult with inter-district travellers is infected. Earlier as a part of lockdown relaxations, 37 districts in Tamil Nadu were divided into 8 zones clubbing a few districts together and it was notified that no e-pass was required to travel within a district.
