The police has so far impounded 15,000 vehicles which were found to be in violation of these rules. Chaos reigned at Borivali near the expressway highway today as people remained unaware of the new rules. The heavy traffic jam caused a vehicle blockage for hours today. Confusion has been reported in different areas across the city as people claim that despite travelling for work, they are stopped by the police.
