She was dropped outside Guwahati medical college and hospital and told to walk in by herself. The woman pleaded for help on the street outside the hospital. The officials of the hospital have claimed that strict action will be taken against all those who were involved in this case on of gross negligence by the health workers and staff. The woman stood for hours on the outside of the hospital pleading for help, exposing not only medical apathy but a significant risk to public health as many people passed her closely during this period.
