Some users do not bother to read the privacy policies and tend to mindlessly accept all the permissions that are sought by the application.
Tarun Wig, Information Security Consultant, talks about how documents that are scanned using CamScanner, another popular mobile application, have been stored on Chinese servers. UCBrowser has also stored the content that people have searched for on the internet. He explains how people download the mobile application and the settings are automatically changed to ensure all the data goes to them.
