Every single Municipal Corporation in this entire region, except Mumbai Municipal Corporation and Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation has declared a 10 days complete lockdown.
The population of these cities where complete lockdown is declared is more than 50 lakh. The question is, why these cities had to declare another phase of lockdown when the country is unlocking. When the entire focus was on Mumbai, were these cities ignored? What did the administration do during the lockdown? And what is the plan for this lockdown as a lockdown is not a solution. Will the administration focus on actual solutions like rapid testing, screening, contact tracing and implementing strict containment zone norms.
