After police inquired a person, there was no lead on Vikas Dubey. Vikas Dubey's associate Shyam Bajpayee has been arrested. He acts as the dreaded mastermind gangster's aide. He was injured in the Kanpur encounter. The police encounter took place near Chaubepur police station. This acts as another arrest of the gangster's close aid after the arrest of Amar Dubey. This is a big development when it comes to the Kanpur massacre. As per the Uttar Pradesh police, five people have been pinned down. Out of which three have been killed and two have been arrested.
