As a result of an exponential rise in the number of Covid-19 cases, State Government has now decided to imply a strict lockdown on various hotspots and other regions of West Bengal in order to curb the pandemic spread.
This lockdown will be imposed from the 9th in July; however, the due end of lockdown is not yet announced as it may increase depending on the situation. The decisions to withdraw those stringent restrictions have been left to the district administration.
