3:03Now PlayingThe fake social media scam row intensifies after one more person gets arrested in the case. 29-year-old Kashif Mansoor who has been arrested is the owner of a firm which is accused of selling Fake Followers. Mansoor is a civil engineer, has completed 25,000 orders & sold 2.3 crores, fake followers, till date.
According to Mumbai police, several celebrities have bought thousands and lakhs of fake followers for Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts. As of now, police have found 54 such portals. Singer Bhoomi Trivedi’s fake account was created via one of these portals and her fake account has several followers.
