The VIP stretch on the Peddar road in Mumbai has been closed for three months after a wall collapsed. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray reached on the site of the landslide. The stretch is an important one and if shut for three months will disrupt people’s routine.
The reason stated by BMC for the closing of the stretch is because the landslide can happen again, given the current situation of the stretch. The stretch would be made much better once it is completed.
