The state government declared that no public display of idols, procession or immersion of Ganesha idols will be allowed on 22nd August owing COVID19 spread. However, Hindu Munnani and Tamil Nadu BJP have opposed it vehemently.
In fact, BJP National Secretary H Raja tweeted, "Permission given in Karnataka to celebrate Vinayaga Chathurthi. That government is Manly. Upset over this AIADMK retaliated where the party spokesperson Kovai Sathyan questioned H Raja's manliness for being unable to even win a Scout election.
Meanwhile, another BJP leader Nirmal Kumar tweeted indirectly stating that AIADMK ministers were hiding behind a saree and that they only started to look after a Manly person formed government in Center. Unfortunately, both parties seem to have lost the need of the hour which is controlling Corona and are fighting over the manliness clause.
