5:42Now PlayingIn every rains Mumbai roads develop Potholes which cause a lot of problems to vehicle drivers. Just outside the NCB office in the Bellard Estate area in Mumbai. Outside this Govt office, there is a big patch of potholes. Whenever Vehicle goes through this patch it literally gets shaken. There are many such roads in Mumbai which have developed the potholes after recent heavy spell of rains.
BMC which is one of the richest civic body spends a good amount of money to fill these potholes. They even have a separate budget for this. So far civic body has used 'Cold Mix' & 'Hot Mix' technology to fill them but it's of no use. In a few instances BMC had bought these pothole filling materials from a foreign country but that has also not worked out of BMC. Every year BMC carries out Monsoon preparedness drive in which they undertake road maintenance wok, drain work. But after a heavy spell of rains potholes emerge on Mumbai road every year.
