3:26Now PlayingAs the Indian National Congress has launched a nationwide protest demanding the postponement of the NEET and JEE Exams, the National Students Union of India has launched a hunger strike in Bengaluru. Several students across the country fear risking their lives to give the exams during the pandemic as the number of Covid-19 cases across the country has been peaking. As per the Karnataka government, they are ready to hold the exams as they have already held the Class 10 exams and CET exams successfully too. The JEE and NEET exams are scheduled to be held in September. On August 17, the Supreme court had dismissed a petition by 11 students from 11 states to postpone the two crucial exams, declaring that the careers of students could not be put in jeopardy.
