2:00Now PlayingTamil Nadu: Another custodial assault case has been reported in Thootukudi. A 43-year old Martin who is undergoing hospital treatment alleged that four policemen beat him and he was dragged to the van. Victim's wife also claimed that he was made to starve at the police station.
After an argument with the neighbour on 23 Aug, the police dragged him to the police van and put him in custody. This is the same police station where the father-son duo Jayaraj and Bennix case took place. Martin was threatened by sub-inspector Raja.
Mirror Now's Pramod Madhav says the magistrate has recorded the victim's statement. Victim's knees were also found wounded.
