2:08Now PlayingThe Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has suggested new strategies for the testing of COVID patients. The testing strategy stresses on every individual staying in the containment zone via Rapid Antigen tests and also of the asymptomatic patients in the non-containment zones.
People who are showing flu-like symptoms in the non-containment zones should also be tested. The strategy also focuses on high-risk contacts in non-containment zones. The new testing strategy comes following the decision of changing testing strategies every few months. People with co-morbidities can also get tested and people going for surgeries in the hospital will have to go for a 14 days home quarantine so that the spread of the virus is stopped immediately. These are the new guidelines released by the ICMR.
