The Minister is likely to be summoned next week by the Customs, he has already been interrogated by the Enforcement Directorates.
The protests turned into a ruckus and the police had to resort to lathi-charge to disperse the crowd. The revolt not only took place outside the official office but also all across the State. Basic lockdown norms like social distancing, wearing masks, etc. were violated. Other political parties were also seen staging protests against Minister Jaleel.
