3:46Now PlayingRavi Shankar, one of the prime accused in the Sandalwood Drug Case has made several startling revelations in his statement to the Central Crime Branch. Ravi has confessed that he was introduced to actress Ragini in 2013-14 through his family friend Shivaprakash (A1), a movie producer and stone-quarry owner. He adds that they began attending parties at hotels, restaurants, and clubs, where they drank alcohol and smoked. He says that Ragini and he attended several parties hosted by Viren Khanna, where Vaibhav Jain and his friends Vinay, Rachan, Arun, and Prashanth Ranka used to distribute ecstasy pills. Most of the parties would be hosted at Aditya Alva's (former politician Jeevraj Alva’s son) farmhouse in Bengaluru. In a startling claim, he reveals that on June 28, he visited a resort with Ragini Dwivedi for a birthday party. Vaibhav Jain too was present at the party. After cutting the cake, Vaibhav Jain gave half an ecstasy pill to him and he shared it with Ragini and her two friends. The duo then left to late Andhra Pradesh MP Adikesavulu's grandaughter Chaitanya Naidu's resort, where they stayed for two days and consumed more ecstasy.
