5:50Now PlayingIndia is the second worst-hit nation that has been affected by the Coronavirus, with almost 1 lakh cases coming daily and taking India’s tally to above 45 lakh marks. Centre has appealed seven states to ensure that all the health care facilities in these respected states have an adequate oxygen supply for the patients. These seven states include Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Gujarat, and Rajasthan.
Apart from this, the Centre has also asked these states to not interrupt the transportation of oxygen supplies to other states as well. The decision was taken up in a virtual meeting which was organized by the Union Health Ministry. While Madhya Pradesh has already made arrangements for the oxygen supply in the state, Maharashtra on the other hand has reserved 80% of oxygen supply for the medical purpose.
