1:53Now PlayingMumbai Civic Body has revised the home isolation guidelines with respect to COVID-19. Asymptomatic patients will not stay at home. Earlier, the BMC had said that there will be no home isolation for patients above 60 years of age. However, the guidelines have been revised.
Mirror Now's Disha Shah says that last month the BMC had said that even if the age is above 60, a person who is asymptomatic or symptomatic has to get admitted in the nearest hospital or COVID care centre. This move was to reduce the death rate in the city. However, now with increasing cases and non-availability of beds, these guidelines have been revised.
