1:49Now PlayingIndia-China standoff: Brigadier-commander level talks are underway in Ladakh. These talks are relating to the de-escalation along the Line of Actual Control(LAC). These talks are being conducted to ensure there is no further escalation at the border.
Indian and Chinese troops are barely 300-500 metres away from each other at certain points on the Ladakh border. The border issue is very tense and the troops are very close to each other. These talks are to ensure no further escalation takes place from both ends. Several rounds of discussion are going on the ground in Ladakh. There are apprehensions that even if one shot is fired by mistake it could lead to severe problems.
