The latest development in the case is that the protesters were seen pushing police barricades and creating a ruckus outside the secretariat. The cops used water cannon to disperse the protesters. KT Jaleel has been questioned by both the Enforcement Directorate and the National Investigation Agency, but now the growing clamour for his resignation. After the Congress party, BJP too has joined the protest against KT Jaleel. Today, the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's ex-secretary M. Sivasankar was interrogated by the National Investigation Agency and it is taking place in Ernakulam. The interrogation is based on the digital data that was retrieved from the laptops and mobiles of the main accused Swapna Suresh and Sandeep Nair. This acts as a significant development after KT Jaleel was interrogated. This is the third time when N. Sivasankar is being probed.
