5:21Now PlayingThe Hathras gang –rape incident has sparked massive outrage in the country and Delhi sees the most brunt of it. Congress leader Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi along with other leaders have decided to reach Hathras via Yamuna Expressway, to meet the family of the victim.
Congress workers continue to protest at the Delhi-Noida border as checking has been stepped up. Media entry to Hathras has also been blocked. Amid the outrage, section 144 has been imposed in Hathras. It was however expected that Priyanka Gandhi will be detained at Noida-DND border, but that certainly hasn’t happened. What is questionable is why is the media denied entry? Furthermore, UP Police is yet to answer a lot of questions, which they certainly are trying to escape.
