56:03Now PlayingOn the Urban Debate with Tanvi Shukla, today we see how the administration is openly threatening stance of UP Government's in the Hathras Gangrape case. A 19-year-old Dalit woman in Uttar Pradesh was gang-raped by four upper-caste men in Hathras District on September 14. The victim succumbed to her injuries in Delhi's Safdarjung hospital. She was left in a pathetic condition with her tongue chopped off and the body paralyzed.
The family of the victim has been threatened by the DM of Hathras as he said "Media will go and you will have to deal with us". However the DM did not comment on being asked and evaded media's questions.
Neerja Chowdhury, Senior Journalist said that she would urge every single police officer to say to themselves ‘What if this had happened to my daughter?'
