2:12Now PlayingMumbai: The COVID crisis continues. There is a shortage of ventilator beds for COVID patients in Mumbai. As per the latest report of the BMC, 108 ventilator beds are left for COVID patients. Out of 1133 beds, 1025 ventilator beds have already been occupied.
Hospitals and COVID care centres are facing this shortage. BMC report suggests that there has been a 30% rise in occupancy since September as compared to the August data. The testing of the coronavirus has increased in the city which has led to rising cases and more occupancy. Mirror Now's Disha says the shortage has been seen. The data is very concerning.
