Health experts believe that the COVID peak is expected to hit in the 2 weeks. There are 2,421 active cases per 10 lakh population. The State also has the maximum number of new cases in the country. The biggest problem in the State is the inadequacy of trained manpower which has put excessive pressure on the existing health-care facilities.
