The Suburban railways also came to a sudden halt resulting in many passengers to change their travel routes and plans. The shock came at around 10 am in the morning leaving numerous people in anxiety and disbelief.
Tensions arose not only for travel and communication but also for Covid-19 care facilities where a constant supply of power was vital for patients.
However, the power has been restored in almost 95% of the places affected.
