6:39Now PlayingThe Hathras victim’s family is travelling to Lucknow for a hearing that’s taking place in the Allahabad High Court. The High Court has also summoned various other authorities involved in the case like the DJP, ADJ, DM, police, State Chief Secretary, to enquire about the last rites that were performed on the victim.
The victim’s brother has stated that the family will clearly declare in details the range of incidents that took place on September 14th and 29th. He also said that the five members that are travelling to the court have been assured safety by the U.P. Government.
The victim’s sister-in-law wants to inquire why did the U.P. cops cremate the victim’s body without the family’s consent, in the dead of the night. The chilling incident goes against all Hindu rituals of last rites and the family was also denied the last look.
