Calcutta High Court pulls up Mamata Government for no clear crowd control plan for Durga Pooja amid COVID-19 crisis. The High Court even went ahead to issue new guidelines for Navratri celebration. The entry into Pooja Pandals is restricted to only 25 people including organisers. All Pandals are declared even declared as ‘no entry’ zones.

The Calcutta High Court was hearing the plea filed by State Government to celebrate Durga Pooja and Navratri amid COVID-19 pandemic. However, looking at the increasing number of Coronavirus cases, the High Court thought that the State’s Government’s guidelines are not adequate to the pandemic crisis.
