This comes in as the Facebook head of India steps down amidst the controversy of fake news being posted on the platform.
Twitter officials and Amazon officials will present themselves today in front of the joint parliamentary panel. Amazon earlier refused to join the panel over data protection bill and the sources told Mirror Now that the refusal from Amazon's end would mean trouble for the e-commerce website. The joint parliamentary panel has been looking over the data protection bill, which came to the floor of the house and ever since then, the panel has summoned almost all social media giants.
