Earlier, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal had urged the State Government to ensure safety in the railway system and stated that it is important for tracks and stations to be cleared for safety. It is also said that Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Chief Secretary will hold a key meeting with the Railway Minister.
