The victim was attacked by her live-in relationship partner who poured acid on her and then set her on fire in Beed district of Maharashtra. The police have arrested the attacker booking him for murder. The deceased woman was a resident of Nanded district living with 25-year old Avinash Rajure, who later planned this murder. The reason for this attack is unknown and can be personal. In a dying statement to the police, it is reported that the victim was unaware of Rajure’s intention to kill her.
