The government has cited the rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in the National Capital, but the opposition has launched a scathing attack on the Centre for the same. The opposition has termed this as an attempt to ignore the ongoing farmers' protest and their issue. Further, they have also mentioned that while the ruling government has held political rallies and has also held elections amidst the pandemic, then why is just the winter session being called off?
Tanvi Shukla takes this with her panelists. Ghanshyam Tiwari of the Samajwadi Party states that the BJP government is running away from debates. In the last 7 years, the parliament has sat for the lowest number of days. There were more Sundays than parliament sittings in the last seven years.
