3:36Now PlayingAmritsar: 8 passengers returning from the United Kingdom have tested COVID positive. All the 8 passengers were on board Air India's last flight from London. The passengers have been sent for isolation in a hospital and for further treatment as well.
Chaos was seen at Amritsar as the arrangements for COVID testing were not proper. The samples of these 8 passengers have also been sent to a medical college. This after the new strain of COVID has been reported in the United Kingdom.
It looks as if the Punjab government has not made clear and proper arrangements. The report for further analysis has been sent and the root cause is yet to be figured out.
