1:19Now PlayingIt is reported that a doctor at a private hospital in Maharashtra's Amravati is now under scanner for a case of vaccination fraud. The doctor in question has allegedly facilitated free shots of Covid Vaccine for 19 members of his family and friends, by showing them as staff attached to the hospital. The COVID vaccination program is only for healthcare workers and the cost is said to be borne by the centre. An inquiry has been ordered following the incident that took place in the state of Maharashtra. Doctor, on the other hand has claimed innocence and cited ‘Ignorance’.
