5:32Now PlayingTwo policemen were killed on Friday in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Srinagar in Kashmir. The attack took place on the High Security Airport Road in the Baghat district. The two policemen were shot from close range, according to a police officer. A manhunt was conducted by security forces to track down the attackers.
The wounded police officers were taken to a hospital where they died, the police said. Sg CT Mohammad Yousuf and Ct Suhail Ahmad were identified as the two slain policemen. This is the second assault in the last three days in the area. Militants shot and wounded the son of a restaurant owner on Wednesday in the high-security Durganag area of the city.
