An urgent meeting was chaired by CM Uddhav Thackeray, after a surge in the number of cases was reported from Amravati and Akola. The Maha government has announced a weekend lockdown in these two districts as well. New and stricter rules to fight COVID-19 have now been laid down by the BMC officials. A list of do's and dont's has also been released by the BMC. The home quarantine has also stepped back once again. The state government has also decided to shut all schools and colleges in these affected districts. Watch!
