The Apex Court has transferred the transfer petition hearings to itself. Pharma Companies had filed several concerns revolving around the COVID-19 vaccine in the transfer petition.
The Vaccine manufacturers had sought transfer of pending cases to the apex court in order to avoid conflicting orders by Delhi and Bombay High Courts. Earlier, the Centre had informed the top court that only those vaccines were being exported which can't be administered by the existing infrastructure and medical staff.
