2:28Now PlayingFollowing the Central and State governments' orders to enact safety measures for Covid, an act of heinous cruelty occurred in Madhya Pradesh. Two police officers in Indore have seriously beaten a man for allegedly failing to properly wear a mask. When Krishna Keyer, a 35-year-old auto rickshaw driver, was on his way to see his ailing father in a hospital, his mask had slipped down his nose. Two cops noticed this and pulled him over on the side of the road, demanding that he come to the station. When he declined, they began abusing him.
A bystander's cellphone video captures them mercilessly kicking and punching the man as he lay on the ground, futilely attempting to defend himself. His young son, who was with him, kept shouting for assistance.
