6:38Now PlayingFollowing an attack on BJP West Bengal President Dilip Ghosh while he was visiting Cooch Behar in North Bengal on Wednesday, Ghosh has accused West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of being behind the attack. He also urged the election commission to prevent Mamata Banerjee from conducting any rallies until the West Bengal Assembly election is completed, saying that otherwise, bloodshed would result.
He also said that while Mamata Banerjee's car was never stopped, BJP vehicles were, and that police lathi-charged BJP workers. People carrying TMC flags attacked the car with sticks and bricks, he said while speaking to the media. He also said that TMC is targeting EVMs and that only Central Forces can ensure a free and fair election.
