7:41Now PlayingMaharashtra witnessed a massive rise in COVID cases as the state recorded the highest-ever single-day jump of over 60,000 infections in the last 24 hours, with the active case tally rapidly breaching the 5 lakh mark to reach 5,01,559. The total death count in the state has reached 56,652. With the recovery of 30,296 patients today, the state's recovery rate stands at 82.36% at present. Out of this, the city of Pune shared the highest count with 11,023 cases, followed by Mumbai at 10,428, Nagpur at 5,721 cases, Thane at 3,108 and Aurangabad 1,765 cases.
