Some shocking news has come in from the state of Gujarat that reveals that the metal structures of furnaces at some crematoriums in Surat have started melting due to continues use as a result of rising COVID deaths and rushing bodies. For the past one week, around 16 gas-based furnaces at the Kurukshetra Crematorium and Ashvini Kumar Crematorium are operating 24X7 to cremate bodies leading to maintenance issues.
