An official said on Wednesday that 320 doses of Bharat Biotech's Covaxin went missing from the Kanwatiya government hospital in Shastri Nagar.
On Tuesday night, the hospital authorities told the Jaipur chief medical and health officer about the robbery, and a FIR was filed on Wednesday. The vaccines were allegedly stolen on Monday, according to Jaipur CMHO Dr Narottam Sharma, who added that the case was reported to the hospital superintendent on Wednesday. According to Sharma, a departmental investigation into the robbery has also been requested.
